Cosplay update!!!

So I've been working my butt off on that Pyrrha cosplay to try and finish it before I go back to college (something tells me my roommate would freak if all the sudden I was running around sewing and painting the place up)--and I'm getting close!!! I've been meaning to post pictures of the progress and of the most up to date full work but--alas that has not yet happened. I'm so slooow.
I just have to finish painting up her spear--since that is what weapon of hers I decided I had time to do and complete. I have to finish her gauntlet--more painting, eyelets, lace, hot glue gunnin'. I need to finish the knee armor so I can attach it to the shins and paint the leg armor (hopefully I don't ruin that by trying to add detail). Gotta sew up and add her little dangly chain things plus some snaps to the headpiece armor. And also gotta do the neckpiece that's going to end up killing me to do.
I'm pretty proud of how it's turning out--I'm not a sewer. (nor a contact cementer apparently, damnit that stuff sticks to your skin) But it's actually fitting and looks kinda like her. I just hope people at anime detour recognize me and enjoy the work that I'm doing.

Just realized, it's been a while since I made a journal entry: guess what? What I was talking about last time-- Anime Detour--yeah I'll be there again. I believe I was talking about my Just Be Friends cosplay that will probably be at Detour again. Only difference is I am making my own cosplay as well this year. I figured out that one: I suck with a sewing machine so I'm trying my best and two: I will never ever dis another cosplayer that makes their own stuff cos holy hell this is hard! I will hopefully be putting up some WIP pictures of it soon enough (once I construct enough worthy of showing). I'm sure that I will look like total crap when I actually end up going (cos damn I really cannot be crafty to save my life) but I will try!
Why the hell I picked Pyrrha from RWBY to be my first homemade cosplay choice I have no clue but attempts shall be made!!!
Expect those WIP's in the future and maybe I'll actually upload some decent drawings as well XD

Sooo. Ima actually write a journal. I r cosplaying for the first time.....whooo! All that considering...I can't make my own shiznit so I bought one off of amazon XD though I have to scrounge up everything else and actually make my own hairpiece so not that bad right?? Anyways I'd take pictures of it...but one: I have no one to take pictures of it for me. And two: I'm not completely comfortable with showing my ugly mug on deviantart.
Oh yea- Btw I'm cosplaying Luka Megurine, Just Be Friends like a bajillion other peoples XD It's for detour minnesota! whoooo!
